This may sound and feel like a clickbait but it is actually a problem because when you get money from an ATM you usually get 100 dollar bills and that can be a massive amount of cash for restaurants and other venues that they quite often needs to sort out in giving you back both USD an KHR.
This is what we got back after paying with a hundred dollar bill after having dinner.
When getting multiple currencies back it can cause a bit of a hassle for you – we follow a quite quick way to handle this and it’s every one USD is equivalent to 4000 KHR (approximately) that can help you easier understand the change you are getting back.
Also a nice way to do this is before you order you actually ask if you can pay with a hundred dollar bill – no joke – and it has to be in pristine condition – we have actually had hard time paying with ten dollar bills just because there is some stupid writing on it.
NO tearing and do NOT fold it or you might have a no go paying anything with that bill – why you may ask – because of widespread forgery – simple as that.
