What time do they sell alcohol in Thailand

For stores the short answer is between 11am to 2pm and 5pm to midnight – this applies to stores that needs to give you a receipt… the long answer is a non official statement that you may or may not find a mom and dad store that will happily depart you from your money if you can find them during this time slots. One of the explanations I have heard is that the ban is there to prevent school children to buy alcohol to and from school – this may very well be true and it may not be true or just a little bit true 🙃

Any Buddhist holiday – or “bank” holiday are usually 24 hour or more ban on all alcohol sales even for bars and restaurants (usually hotels can still serve you drinks during these events) this can also vary depending on location this is Thailand – same same but different. Example of that is when in Koh Samui we got a whisper back it’s holiday but you can have a beer in a glass not bottle ok? Just say Chai Khrap and smile.

So if you want something stronger than ice coffee during these periods then you should stack up some inventory.

Thailand is still a paradise with very much up to you attitude as long as you play by the rules and be a good guy.

Why now and how we did this is coming soon until then we also do some Vlogging on YouTube:
