A lot of people but still place for you to relax – either with your own parasol That you can buy for 300 to 450 Bath (negotiable) or rent a (they come in pairs) bed for 200 Bath per day not negotiable.
There are plenty of shops to buy your beach gear even if the prices are inflated during high season.
Eateries are never far away in Thailand and that applies to this place too and the food is amazing as always at Mama Seafood 🦞 hard though to get them to do it really spicy 🌶 so ask for condiments 👍
How to get here or from here? Taxi/TukTuk/motorbike/bicycle/walking – all options work – up to you as Thai people say. Taxi/TukTuk from Rawai is 200 Bath – a Songthaew (blue local non air condition buses) to or from Rawai shouldn’t set you back more than 30 Bath just flag it down and jump on you pay the driver when you jump off – slow but cheap
There are of course massage places on the beach.
You can rent SUP boards and more.
The sand is lovely white and fine and will absolutely get into any fiber of your clothes.
There is as small amount of sellers on the beach but they are easily turned down if you just say no with a smile 😃 though an ice cream can sometimes taste very good on a hot day 😋
A big local beer was 70 Bath in one of the shops and big water 15 Bath not to shabby in high season (January 2019).
